"Integration isn’t about eliminating the mess—it’s about honoring the wisdom inside it."
—Ahmy Brock

We all want freedom.
Some chase it through achievement. Others through stillness.
Some seek it by trying to change who they are. Others by trying to finally be who they are. But what if true freedom isn’t on either end of that spectrum?
What if it lives in the sacred middle—where your spirit and your humanity, your beliefs and your body, your chaos and your clarity... finally stop fighting?

The Paradox of Integration

Integration doesn’t mean becoming someone new. It means becoming someone whole.

In my work, I call this process living in duality:

  • Being both the one who struggles and the one who witnesses the struggle
  • The part that needs control and the part that trusts the unfolding
  • The logical human and the intuitive spirit

Balance isn’t about equal parts. It’s about honoring the truth in all parts.

Demartini: The Lens of Values

Dr. John Demartini’s work teaches that we each have a unique value hierarchy—a set of priorities wired into our being. When we perceive life as supporting our highest values, we feel gratitude, clarity, and inner alignment. When we perceive threat or misalignment, we feel chaos, resistance, and emotion.

Here’s where it gets wild:
What you call a problem is often life trying to redirect you to what you value most.
Conflict isn’t chaos—it’s a mirror for misalignment.

So the question becomes:

Are you living from your authentic values… or reacting from someone else’s expectations?

Crone: The Cage Is Made of Thought

Peter Crone asks us to look at the stories we inherited and never questioned:

  • “I must be liked to be safe.”
  • “I'm only worthy if I succeed.”
  • “If I speak up, I'll be abandoned.”

These beliefs often formed before we had the language to challenge them. But they still run the show.

Crone doesn’t offer new affirmations. He offers freedom through awareness.
He teaches that the moment you question the belief, you’re no longer trapped inside it.

Integration: A Practice, Not a Destination

So how do we combine these three threads—values, beliefs, and soul—with actual daily living?

Here’s what it can look like:

  1. Notice the tension – Where in your life are you caught between control and surrender?
  2. Name the value – What deeper value might this tension be pointing you toward? (e.g., connection, truth, peace)
  3. Challenge the narrative – What belief is quietly dictating your reaction? Is it even yours?
  4. Choose the middle – Not either/or... but both/and. Can you hold discomfort and curiosity? Logic and faith?

The Freedom Found in Balance

When you start doing this work, you don’t get a perfect life. You get an honest one.
You start honoring the fullness of your experience—not just the pretty parts.
You stop chasing peace and start creating it through inner congruence.
You remember that your spirit was never meant to save you from your humanity—only to guide you through it.

Final Reflection:

What would shift today if you stopped trying to fix yourself…
…and started listening for the wisdom that’s been whispering under the noise all along? 🩷

Reminder:
You don’t have to do life perfectly. (That’s impossible anyway.)

Just be willing to do it—consciously, deliberately, and with connection.
